Not sure what to say?

Chris and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mary Ann was such a delight, happy, and always greeted me...she always had time to visit! Loved seeing her at ACC and the Knit Shop through the years. So sorry for your loss.

Mary Ann was a special, talented, caring, interesting lady. I always enjoyed her company when we were together. We had some fun outings together when she vacationed in Michigan during the summertime.often stopping at antique shops and having lunch together. She will be missed by many. Memories of Mary Ann date back to my childhood. Her parents, Carl Swanson and Irene Fry were married at an Episcopal church in Austin, TX, in a double wedding ceremony with my parents Roland Avery and Ireane Boldin. The men were stationed at Ft. Sam Houstin awaiting their departure to Europe during WWI. MY mother, Ireane, and Irene Fry traveled by train from Aurora to marry their sweethearts. I remember dinners with my parents at the Swanson home, and visits by them and Mary Ann to my...

I met Mary Ann at church and as we talked I found out that she had known my cousin. We had a group that went out to breakfast after church and she always included me. She asked me if I would take a cruise with her and we went to Mexico.I loved the sunglasses turned up when she didn't need them. I also went to school with Ann Dykstra. Mary Ann had such a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed at church and by me. My prayers are with the family. Judy Hoppe, Montgomery,Il.

I worked with Mary Ann in the hospital gift shop. She was a woman I truly admired. We worked crossword puzzles when it wasn't busy in the shop. She was a very sharp lady, kind and gracious to all. She loved her family very much and was very proud of you all. We also had numerous cat stories to tell as we were both cat lovers!
She was a great lady who I was proud to call friend

My sympathy goes out to your family

Trudy Huberty, Sugar Grove, Il

Our hearts and prayers go out to your family during this time of sorrow.

My Sympathy to your family at this time, Mary Ann was a wonderfully spunky lady, who will be missed by many.

Mary Ann was one of my parents' dearest friends and then mine too. What an incredible life-loving, colorful, and well-traveled woman! Chris and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mary Ann was our "pew-mate" at New England for years, and it was always a treat to see her arrive with flair and sparkle. She's in a better place now, and we, like you, will cherish our special memories of this grand lady. Nancy and Jim Hopp
