My deepest condolences. I have very fond memories of her visit to Toronto to meet long lost relatives not so very long ago. A warm and lively presence.

I am so sad to read this Alexandra. I had no idea that Mary had passed away. She was so wonderful and a great friend. So warm and giving. I will dearly miss her in my life even though we didn't really correspond very much. I spent a day with Mary in New York City in 2011 when she had missed our 50th Day Prospect Hill highschool reunion and wanted to see me. I met Mary at my daughter, Sarah's wedding to Sam Carroll in Turks and Caicos. She exuded such warmth, intelligence and fun. My condolences for the loss of such a family treasure.

I first met Mary and Thomas at Cambridge when I was sixteen and visiting from California. Lately I had a good time talking on the phone and learning more about the Byrne side of the family. I was hoping to make it back East to have an in person with both Mary and Thomas. Sincerely Gerri Byrne
