Not sure what to say?

There are no words that can express the loss which I have experienced. Mary was my life, my love, my best friend, my everything! She was the sweetest and kindest lady whom I have ever known. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Her musical talents were a blessing from God and she put her heart and soul into every song she sang and every song she played on the piano. God sent her to me and, after 16-plus years, He took her home. Even I, sometimes, did not know...

Mary was a Lead Section Leader and Front Row dancer with Alamo Metro Chorus for some years. Her beautiful "inside" shown thru that beautiful smile she always had on her face and she sang like an angel...now she is one. My deepest sympathies and prayers to her family.

Our loss, God's gain. What a wonderful Christian Mary was and how she dearly loved her husband, Frank. They had lots of plans to do more good things in this world, but God needed her more. I attended Elementary, Jr. High and Sr. High School with Mary and also worked at HI with her. She was always smiling and could play the piano like no other!! I always envied her - we took music from the same teacher in Houston - I just don't know what happened to me because I sure can't play like Mary...

Mary you will be deeply missed. Frank you and the family will be in our prayers.
We from Dr. Moore's office loved you and will keep you and the family in our prayers.

I knew Mary at Calvary Church and am very sad to hear of the news of her passing. She was an important part of the music ministry and so talented. My heart goes out to all of the family. (My last name at that time was Grisbee).
Love in Him,

Mary was a very wonderful person. Her desk was just outside of my office at THECB, and I loved seeing her smile each time I passed by. It was always fun talking with her because she was such a positive person. I am so fortunate to have known such a special lady. She will be greatly missed.

We are among those friends who have known Mary for many, many years. We have sung together, played together, attended school (Elliot Elementary, Edison Jr. High and Austin HS) together, participated in each other's weddings, raised our kids together, and in general, been friends for a lifetime.

We will indeed miss her, yet we know beyond a doubt that we will join her for a much deeper communion than we have ever enjoyed on this earth.

'We'll Meet You in the Morning'...

To the family: I had the joy and priviledge of having Mary as my admin tech for 7 years. She was very able and highly productive...nothing deterred her. It was a real pleasure to turn the corner into our offices and see her radiant smile. She just beamed. It felt so good to see her and know that she was on our team. At her retirement party she sang to all of us. I have always regretted not capturing that on tape. We knew she could sing but never before realized the full extent of her...

I was in a quartet with Mary when we sang with the Lone Star Chorus in Austin. I think of all the things I miss that I no long have was singing in this quartet and getting to know Mary. We also attended church together at Hayne Chapel. I didn't get to see her as often as I would have liked to in the past few years but I look forward to seeing her again and to sing with her in the Heavenly Choir. Goodbye Mary, I'll see you later darling. Frank and all the family you are in my thoughts and...
