I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Gustavson's passing...
In 1969, I was in her 3rd grade class at Jefferson elementary. I can still see her face and hear her sweet voice today. The two things I remember most are the week Mrs Gustavson taught us how to knit and pearl. She would take a look at my stiches and tell when I was stressed and when I was not, which really amazed me.
