Not sure what to say?

Mary and Jim

I have wanted to meet Mary for years, and was finally able to do so at the induction ceremony for her dad into the NC Music Hall of Fame in October. She was a delightful person with an enormous knowledge of her father's musical career. She was a recording artist in her own right as well. I am very saddened by her passing. I wanted to do a recorded interview with her on my next visit, but it is not to be. My sincere condolences to the family. We have lost a good one.

Dearest Hatley and Mainer family-- I'm so sad to learn of Mary's passing. I have lots of good memories of when we were "kids" playing and playing music together with our Fathers - then even more music over the years. The last time I talked with her she said that its all in Gods hands, and whatever happens is OK -- so, I know shes in a good place, but will be sorely missed here. love to you all

Sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great lady. She will be missed. Love, Carol Biggerstaff Laws (Mary Alica Mainer Daughter)
