Not sure what to say?

We came to know Mary and Sid through Texas Gordon Setter Rescue.
Mary was a special lady whom we came to appreciate as a living Angel.
We felt honored, & blessed having Mary in our life for the last 6 years.
Mary allowed us to have Caladonians Abra KaDabra, "Abbie", a Gordon Setter angel, from her rescue group.
Abbie will be 14 soon & has been our cherished one for 6 uplifting years so far.
Mary's careful attention to matching her rescues to...

Loved our talks and getting to know you better at the Hunt Tests and other events..not to mention your cooking and you always had snacks and great conversation. I will miss you and our many chats-rest in peace and I will think of you often.

Mary had a quick wit and was sweet and sassy lady. She will be missed at the quilt shop where she became a dear friend to all of us and participated in many classes and events. We all loved her sense of humor, how she'd often bring us Payday candy bars ( to sweeten us up!) and how no matter how poorly she was feeling she always managed to make us feel good. It is a comfort to know she is no longer struggling in a body that was too small for her spirit and talent. We will miss her and remember...

What a beautiful difference one single life made.

I know that Mary is at peace, and has joined so many Gordon setters that she loved, at the Rainbow Bridge.

I feel like a big chunk of my very being has been torn from me with her passing. She was the BEST best friend a person could ask for.

Condolences to Sid and her family.

Thanks for all you did for the Gordon Setters Mary, for allowing Greg and I to be a home for one of your rescues until it could find a forever home. You will be missed by many. Our deepest condolences to your family. God Speed Mary, until we meet again.

Mary was such a giving person.
During the time that I knew her through the Gordon Setter Club of America, she was always willing to go the extra mile for a dog in need. I always enjoyed our conversations, dog-related or otherwise. She will be greatly missed.

I know her only through others and her work with the GSCA. She was a treasure and will certainly be missed.

Mary Hoffman brightened our life from the moment we met her over 8 years ago. She was a wonderful women who took us under her wing and mentored us when we was brand new in the dog showing circle. I enjoyed working with her at our hunt shows as well. She was truly a selfless person and gave all of herself to helping others, as well as her furry friends. She will surely be missed! Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this sad time. RIP dear Mary!
