Beaver Dam, AZ - Mary Johnson, age 94, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at her home in Beaver Dam, Arizona. Mary was born February 8, 1926 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Michael and Mary Golesh Borich. She met her loving husband, Elmer Eugene Johnson, in Bingham Canyon; they were married on July 29, 1946 and spent 43 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2002.

Mary had a beautiful childhood in the old mining town of Bingham Canyon. She and her husband raised their beautiful family in Copperton, Utah. She and Gene retired to Beaver Dam, Arizona in 1992. Mary will be remembered as the kind and loving Matriarch of the Johnson/Borich Clan. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, golfing and playing bingo. Most of all she loved being mother, aunt, grandmother and friend to her family, immediate and wonderfully extended.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Christine (Larry, deceased) Davis of Beaver Dam, AZ; Jayne Patience of Murray, UT; Dan (Karen) and David (Valerie) both of S. Jordan, UT; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was lucky to have met and spent the last 10 years with her loving companion, Orval Winchester, who adored and cared for her. So sorry to hear about your Mom. She was such a nice lady. No matter where or when I saw her she always made a point of saying high and giving me a great hug. My parents always had great stories about the times they spent with your Mom & Dad. You and your family are in our thoughts.

Once in awhile you meet someone you know you will be friends for life. Mar was one of those people.

I lived next store to the Johnsons in Copperton my whole unmarried life. I remember so many things about about the Johnsons it hard to put into words. Mary and Gene were always so good to the Harker family. Living in St. George Utah for 46 years, I regret not looking them up in Beaver Dam. So sorry to the family of her passing but she is in a better place. Thanks for all the memories of the family!

Some years ago my husband & I were golfing down in Mesquite, we took a drive and ended up at Beaver Dam and who did I run into? Mary Johnson, she was always such a nice lady. It was so nice to see and talk to her.
My Mom thought the world of her. Heaven just received one of our angels. May she Rest In Peace.
