Not sure what to say?

I am so mournful to read of your death. I came across a swimming picture of us from 1990 and so cherish our time as friends. I love your positive, compassionate, and encouraging personality. You lived life fully. oo,xx

God Bless you Macy. You taught me in nursing school and again later in life. I watched you walk through the last couple of years with amazing strength & grace. You were loved by many and will be greatly missed. Love & sympathy to Macy's family & loved ones. Take Care Steve. Shirl

I was a student at Butte College in the step up RN program. Macy was a breath of fresh air for the nursing students at Butte College. She was always calm and collected, especially during our hospital rotations. She made our classes interesting and understandable. What a loss for the nursing program at Butte College.
My condolences to her family.

What an experience growing up on Bryant Avenue especially across the street from the Copeland Family. What cheriched memories... Macy and I would have sleep-overs, birthday parties, building in-door forts on rainy days, spend hours planning our Halloween costumes, the yearly excitement of going to the Silver Dollar Fair, riding our horses through Bidwell Park and deciding on a special theme for the Pioneer Day Parade. Macy, you were a beautiful person and leave a legacy to all who were...

Macy loved her students and we knew it. She shared her knowledge, expertise and love for nursing for many years. She was an inspiration and a mentor. Macy will never be forgotten and her spirit will always shine through all the many nurses that were lucky enough to be taught by her. Please except our deepest condolences.

Dear Extended Copeland Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.
It was so good to see Macy at the Learning Never Ends Premiere in September where she celebrated Barbara's birthday with an enthusiastic audience.
Her influence on her nursing students is her legacy.
