Not sure what to say?

I was in second grade when Sister Perpetua came to St. A. I thought she was to young to be a Sister. Rest in piece Sister Perpetua.

Dear Sister Perpetua- yes, first grade, 1955. From the obit, she was not only young, but fairly new to teaching.Whoa to the misbehaving student who might, at worst, get a knuckle rap with the yardstick! Yet I remember her decorations and positive attitude making the classroom a welcoming and interesting environment. Thanks to her efforts, my love of reading to learn was given a solid foundation.

Sister Mary Perpetua, was my first grade teacher at St. Leo's,she was a beautiful loving nun. I will always remember her.

Rest in Peace Aunt Winks. We will miss you!

I have fond memories of Sister Perpetua. She was my first grade teacher at St. Aloysius in Shepherdsville. I remember her teaching me to pray with my hands folded towards heaven. I will pray for her family during this difficult time.

Very sweet! She loved teaching the First Grade at St. Aloysius!

Rest in peace Sister Perpetua. You set me on my educational path as my first grade teacher. Thank you for the wonderful lessons.
