When I encountered Mary, she was an example of compassion, humor, a huge friendly smile; and she was always hard at work. It was always a pleasure to be in her company.

Tie and I worked at Camp Kotami for several years. She was a wonderful friend and person. She would try really hard to beat me into the cots of our tent. The rule was last person had to turn off the Coleman lantern. One night she had her shoes unlaced, shirt and pants unbuttoned and she was still last. We laughed so hard about that. My prayers are with Don and Alex and all her family.
