Not sure what to say?

Yes, I knew her in passing. A light has gone out in the world, but the glow remains.

What a privilege to have known Ms. Mary. I thank God for such an amazing gift. Indeed, she was a gift to this world. Ms. Mary will never be forgotten by the poor families she so lovingly helped. God needed another angel and He called her. I will miss her too

Bill, so many memories of early years at KU and the times Hugh and I spent with you and Mary--the Chiefs games, the parties, the family get-to-gethers. And right now I am looking at the picture of our house on Overhill that you and Mary found, bought and brought to us. No matter how successful you became, Mary was always so down to earth and accepting, as were you. You both cared about people and were so giving. Mary will be missed, but not forgotten, a blessing to all who knew her.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a warm, generous, beautiful soul. Whenever I had the pleasure of visiting her and Uncle Bill she was always such a welcoming gracious host. Our thoughts are with Bill and her family. Angela Reed Smith

Mary, I feel so blessed for having had the opportunity to know you. You were truly special. Wish I could have honored your invitation to the farm to see your horses. Memories of talking with you about them still brings a smile to my face and a warmth in my heart. May you rest comfortably dear lady. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to Dr. Reed and the Reed Family.

I feel very privileged to have known the Reed family and especially privileged that they took me in under their wing back in 1978 and gave me a loving home. Mary was so warm, welcoming, caring and nurturing. She brought me into her loving home unconditionally. Each day was filled with a bright smile , warmth and kindness .Mary...

Mom, you became my mom when my mom passed away in 1996. You taught me so much, especially how to be a good wife and mother. I treasured our visits to Kansas City when we would watch funny movies every night. Your laugh was contagious, Our trips to the hair dresser, lunch at Andres and shopping adventures were so special. I will miss you dearly, but rest comfortably knowing your in OurFathers House (planning something only you could plan). I Love You Always and Forever!
