I remember Mary Ann as always being positive, supportive. I knew her through telephone conversations during work; we never met. Even on the telephone, she made a lasting impression. My condolences go to her family, her friends. Especially her children. May God be with you, my prayers are.

I will never forget my very first friend and best friend all through grammar school, Mary Ann Schmitz. We met at the age of 3 in Sunday School and were inseparable throughout our childhood.
