Dearest Mimi, I believe we met in Walled Lake, where Mary stayed for a while. I do know you and your children were her favorite, not to mention the highlight of her days. Mary was so sweet, kind, caring, meek and mild young woman, I have met. I'm so sorry I cannot be there with you and your family tomorrow. God Bless all of you during this time of sadness and mourning. I am one proud person to have known your Mary!

I was blessed in getting to know Mary in my later years in high school. She was such a delight, and had the most wonderful laugh. It has been many years since I have been in touch with her, but have thought of her quite recently. My heart aches at this news.

Although it has been many years since I've had communication with Mary, I find myself deeply saddened of this news. When I ponder my youth, Mary is often at the forefront of those memories. It was very recent that I was thinking of you, Mary, and regret not reaching out to reconnect with you. I will always remember your smile, sincerity, and friendship.

"Is this seat taken?" I asked a girl sitting in Mr. Coes class in 1992, the first day of 7th grade and from then on we were friends. Frequently being separated for talking and laughing. We both still have the notes we passed each other through school in shoe boxes. Friday night football games, parties and driving to school together. Lots of late night talks about boys we had crushes on. Then there was trips to Canada and college. No matter how long it had been or how many times we moved away we always reconnected instantly. I miss her saying, "Lor!" And giving me a big hug...We'd send birthday cards about how we valued our friendship to each other every year and call on Christmas... she sat in a doctors office with me all day when I thought something was really wrong. .. she was only a call away...I love and miss you, Mary Jane, P.C., Posh Spice Love always, Cookie, P.J., Baby Spice xoxo
