I just came across a file copy of a letter I sent to Mason 9 Sept'93. I hope it will be interesting to some.

Dear Mason:

We both enjoyed your vist over the weekend and we enjoyed Tracee as well.
You better keep your strings on that girl, she's as good as they come--we think.

We are proud of you-you have been a joy for us for neigh on to 19 years, and we are confident you will excel in all you undertake and what you undertake...

me with out a hug and "I love you Papa".

My 33 years as Mason's Papa was a pleasure and I miss our time together but at 91 I expect to see him soon.

Mr & Mrs Smoak. This is Joe Medley I use to be good friends with Edward. Mason often went around with us. I'm so sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed. I'm sorry it took me so long to sign the guest book as I wasn't aware of his passing. Again, he will be greatly missed.
