Mathew Jay "Bola" Arredondo, 23, the beloved son of Abel Arredondo and Diamantina Garcia entered into eternal rest on the 18th day of January 2020. Born in Pasadena, TX on the 31st day of July 1996 is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather:Abel Arredondo Sr. (2013) and maternal grandfather: Alfredo Garcia (1999). Matthew leaves behind a loving memory that shall live on in life through his parents: Abel Jr. and Diamantina, siblings: Roel Garcia and spouse (Sandra), Kaleb Arredondo, Nevaeh Arredondo, paternal grandmother: Elsa Arredondo, maternal grandmother: Gloria Garcia, girlfriend: Destiny Gartman and many aunts, uncles family members and friends.

Services have been entrusted to South Houston Funeral Home and on the 27th day of January 2020 the family will welcome visitors into the main chapel from 5-8pm. Following on the 28th day of January 2020 a celebration of Mathew's life will be held at 10am with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In loving memory of a wonderful son We will love you and miss you always. I still cant believe you are no longer here with us ..i keep wanting to text you asking you where your at like i did everyday making sure you were alright and if you had eaten.....I keep remembering that last video chat that i called to make sure you all were alright and you all saying that you all were inside and that you all were fine....

Rest In Peace You are now safe in the arms of our Heavenly Father

It really hurts Jay and we where just talking and catching up in life because we have not see each other in a some years and just like your gone the next day bro and that hits me hard....
I remember when we 1st met lol we would always be fighting throwing me in da pool or pushing me in there lol chasing each other because we where just been silly..

I would like to tell the family how truly sorry i am for this tragedy to hit you all.. No one and no family deserves to go through things like this.. I never really knew Matthew but I remember him from school and we knew of each other..he was always so nonchalant.. Respectful in and out a good person.. You guys will be in ny prayers and i wish i knew what to say to ease the pain but I dont you all hang in there and stay safe...

To the family I'm sorry for your loss.
