Not sure what to say?

Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family, friends and kids whom lives she touched. She was one of the amazing "old school" teachers my girls were lucky to have as role models at Mount View. She once pulled my daughters braid --4th grade --to get her attention (something we laughed about every time we saw each other) A couple of weeks later she asked this same daughter to babysit for her after school-my daughters worked hard to make Mrs. Brown proud. She was amazing and kids...

You were hands down the best teacher I ever had. You will be greatly missed!

She was my 4th grade teacher and was the first teacher to ever make me feel special. She meant and still means alot to me!!

I remember in 2008 my mom, Patricia Borgeson was very ill with stage 4 cancer...Matilda and her daughter came to visit her before she died. Matilda meant the world to her...this lady who taught 5 of her eight children at Mt. View Elementary. The thing about Matilda is she believed that every child could learn as long as the child had a support system. She made sure the parents, grandparents, or the legal caregiver, played a huge part in their child/childrens education. She was right, she...

I will never forget you and all that you've taught me. You touched so many lives including mine and my siblings. You were more than just a teacher, you were a believer in the education of every child. You were and will always be a hero in my eyes.
