Not sure what to say?

Condolences to all his family and loved ones. It was an honor to serve with him on USS Elmer Montgomery (FF-1082)

CAPT BOBOLA WAS TRULY THE CAPTAIN OF ALL CAPTAINS VERY PROUD TO SERVE UNDER HIM GOD BLESS

Suzanne, we were blessed to know you and Matt. I've read the comments from ship mates and sailors Matt influenced and the comments are awesome. He must have been one hell of a CO. We all know the CO's wife makes a big difference. After all, if the CO is happy everyone can be. You always supported him, moved, and taken care of your family. You always supported him. He could not have gone as far as he did without your support and love. The whole family has shown what it means to be a military...

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories I enjoyed working with Matt at SWOSDOC years ago in Newport help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one always.

My prayers go out to the family, he will be missed

My condolences to the family. I didn't know Matthew but may the god of all comfort be with you.

Dear Suzanne, Christopher and family - Know that we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers not just today but in the days to follow that our Savior will give you a peace and comfort the only He can provide. We never met Matt but are so proud of him for the family man we know he was and for the wonderful service and leadership he gave this wonderful country or ours. May we be so fortunate to see many more like Matt represent our Nation.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Randy and Trish...

My heartfelt condolences to the Bobola family! Matt touched many lives in a positive way, mine included. He was, without a doubt, the best CO I had in my 24 years of active duty. He will be missed but live on in the memories of all those who had the privilege of knowing him!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
