Not sure what to say?

When I was about 10-13 somewhere In there, a friend talked me into going to the cages when he was on Bristol, we met Matt and hit balls all day, we´ll over what we paid for, and ended up coming in for about a week straight. Matt asked if we wanted to hangout and help him out and we jumped at the opportunity, we ended up hanging out there everyday after school and Matt always made sure we had something to do, whether it wa s just cleaning, stocking shelves, or if he had us in the cages or...

I never got the chance to meet Matt in person, but I was able to talk to him about one thing that we both had a passion for, that passion is baseball. I couldn't believe I had a family member that got as far with baseball that I only dreamed of. I was able to connect with Matt and create a new relationship with him as a family member. Matt was an amazing person from the start. He sent me sports posters, a hat from the team he played for, and he even invited me to come down to Michigan to meet...

I also play baseball and Im a pitcher. When first found out that I had a cousin that played baseball and was a pitcher, I right away started looking up to him. It was amazing having a family member that played baseball because ever since I was very young iv'e wanted to be a pitcher. Matt and I would talk on the phone a lot about baseball and he would give me tips about pitching on how I could become a better pitcher. I even was going to go up to Michigan to visit him, and see his store, and...

I am related to Matt. We use to talk on the phone all the time about baseball.

Matt was the best coach I ever had. My team was in Bullpen during the off-season and he was the one who truely helped me become a better pitcher. He truely loved the sport and I enjoyed listening to his storoies about his friends in the Major Leagues. May he rest in peace.

My Son Garrett. A fan of Matt.

My family is so sorry for the loss of Matt to his family and friends. My Son and I knew Matt for ten years. We met him through Bullpen Sports. Matt was always kind and genuine. He will be missed. The Congdon family

Memories of Matt where almost all about laughing. He made a hard place to work more fun with jokes and laughter. Wish I had known him better in later years, but brief encounters with him later in life showed me he had lost none of his sense of humor. Thanks for the fun Matt, rest in peace.

Rest in Peace Matt. I played with Matt in high school and he was a great teammate. Matt also was very helpful to me while I was coaching high school baseball. My prayers go out to him and his family.

To the family of Matt Jones you have my deepest sympathy and condolence. I will continue to pray that God would grant you strength and peace in your time of sorrow.

Be Blessed!
