Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of meeting Matt almost 20 years ago through a mutual friend. The brief time I spent with him truly truly left an impact on me. I hav me thought of him over the years. I’m so sorry for your loss.

My nephew Matt was a brilliant young man, full of curiosity about the world, always learning and growing. I loved playing with him when he was little, and I cherish the many conversations we had as he grew older -- especially the time we spent together during his year at Pitt. My heart is full of sadness for his loss, but my faith tells me he is in a better place now. With much love to Lo, Alan and Lissie.

Matt and I met while working at Better Living Audiology. He was always a pleasant person and a gentleman. Since I was the mother of the office st 60 years and a fewii remember that i had participated in a NBA home tournament with my 3 boys and mom9 picks won. Matt went out and had a small trophy made for me engraved with the stars and dated. I still have it and will hold it close to my heart. RIP Matt, no more struggling! My condolences to his family!

What to say about Matt? Smart, funny, engaging, sarcastic, insightful... He was a good friend, and a good person. Although our paths didn't cross again after high school, I've thought of him now and then over the years, wondering where his gifts had taken him and which other lives he touched along the way. He will be remembered well.

Matthews smile is indicative of his personality: warm, kind, and playful. I was blessed to met Matt as a young boy. His gentleness and sense of adventure as well as his curiosity and keen intellect, much like his smile, remained constant as he matured. I have fond memories of engaging conversations with Matt on a variety of topics including literature, philosophy, art, politics, and music.
May good memories be source of comfort to all who grieve for Matt. May the belief that love is...

Id like to share a few of the thoughts that Ive been having. I met Matt in the fall of 1998 in Pittsburgh. We lived in the same house in the North Oakland neighborhood on N Neville St. Matt lived in the apartment above us and thats how we got to be friends. Matt attended the film festivals we used to throw at that...

Sending my deepest condolences to the Novak Family during this difficult time. Elisabeth has shared many great childhood memories of growing up with her beloved older brother. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
