I went through school with Matthew and graduated with him as well. He was always quiet but you knew that he had a good heart just by looking at him. When I saw that he had passed on, it immediately brought me into a state of shock. I just could not believe it. I wondered "why, what happened...?" My deepest sympathies go out to his family. May God be with you in this time of grievance.
