Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Thank you to all who have signed this guest book. I am Matt's oldest granddaughter, and we miss him very much, especially at this time of the year. But as my cousin said, his lasting legacy of love, honor, respect, commitment and humor and zest for life lives on in us. Blessings to you all this Christmas season.

Dear Sutton family,Matt was my first boss at Honeywell in 1959 and I had never met a nicer or better person .He showed trust and compassion for his employees that brought out the best in those he met. Matt, Jeanne and David and the extended Sutton family have always meant a lot to me and my family, and we will always remember your many kindnesses . Sincerely, Ken Fraasch, Crosslake Mn.

Our thoughts and prayers have been with this family throughout the last few months. Matthew was a smart, witty, humorous, and loving family man. He will be missed by many, but his legacy lives on through family. He lived a full and wonderful life, and he will not be forgotten.

Our sincere sympathy in the loss of a special friend.

I'll never forget the night he picked up my copy of "Cat's Cradle" by Vonnegut and was heard laughing out loud deep into the night. That was 48 years ago and I still think of him when I see that book on a bookshelf.
A great American family and my honor to know each of them as a young man.

My Thoughts and Prayers are with all the Sutton family. He was a great man and will be missed. God Bless, Jeanette Whelpley Klauder

Sutton Family, we are saddened to hear of Matt's passing but happy to know my Dad - Bob Johnson has another golf buddy with him now. I heard many stories from and about Matt from grade school on and they were best of friends. They were truly proud members of the Greatest Generation. Our prayers are with you. Denny Johnson - Son of Bob & Helen Johnson

So sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad, Ann. Our prayers to you, Jim and the entire family.

Bobette and Gar

My condolence to all of the family.
I always enjoyed my conversations with Matt, they were always lively!
