Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

McMillen, Matthew W., passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2020.

Beloved son of Michael P. and Julia S. McMillen (nee Baker); loving brother of Zachary H. and Alexander M. McMillen; dearest grandson of Thomas M. and Marilyn L. McMillen (nee Mastin) and Sharon E. (nee Whitehead) and the late William H. Baker; dear nephew of Melissa J. (Gregory J.) Reiter and Jennifer E. (Brian Womack) Baker; our dear cousin and friend of many.

In Matt’s short 15-years he impacted so many lives by making friends wherever he went. He was nicknamed Monkey at a young age because of his constant energy. His sarcastic sense of humor brought laughter and sometimes grimaces to those around him. Music constantly filled his life, whether it was his beloved guitar, his bass, or his bass clarinet. His energy and free spirit will be missed most of all.

Services: Reception at The Crossing at Chesterfield, 114 N. Eatherton Road, Chesterfield, MO 63005, Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Brief graveside service at Bethel Cemetery, Friday, January 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Camp Kesem or Lawrence Strawbridge Foundation. A service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

Note: Please bring your favorite memory or photo of Matthew to place in the family's memory box at the Reception.
