Maureen Killoran Obituary

Maureen Ann Killoran MINT HILL - Maureen Ann Killoran, age 86, of Mint Hill, passed away on March 28, 2014. Maureen was born in New York City on March 23, 1928. She graduated from St. Jean The Baptiste High School and The Washington School of Business in New York City. She also attended Columbia University for advanced foreign language programs, was an accomplished writer of business manuals and public relations documents, and functioned at the highest level as an executive secretary at Waltham Industries and General Telephone and Electronics. Witty, efficient, inexhaustible and compassionate, she got the job done! She loved the outdoors, served her community, and fought injustice. You knew she was around! A person of high moral character, she will be missed dearly. Maureen is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas Killoran. Maureen loved living in North Carolina for the past twenty five years. A memorial mass will be held in her honor at St. Luke Catholic Church in Mint Hill on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. Condolences may be offered at www.mcewenminthillchapel.com.

Tom,
I hope that you remember me.
i am Richard Malnati.
I was at a New Year's eve gathering at your house in the early 60's.
I worked with Maureen and Honore Eisman at Mc Crory 711 fifth ave.
Maureen worked for Mr. Shuldiner and i worked for Mr. Riklis.
If i had had any idea that you lived here, i would have visited.
I moved here in 1973.
I so wish to be at the mass to honor Maureen.
My friend Lee Hurley was killed in an accident last week and his mass is at St. Gabe's at the same time.
Do not know what to do.
