Funeral service for Maurice Emerson Graham, 77, of Hillsboro, will be today at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Tommy Whitlow and Neil Carter officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Shumaker Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Graham died October 24, 2013 at Lawrence Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1936, in Lawrence County to the late Ralph Emerson Graham and the late Annie Elsie Zimmerman Graham. He was a retired Computer Specialist from Redstone Arsenal. He was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church and Gideon's International. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack Graham, and Patrick Graham; and one great-granddaughter, Cynthia Graham.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Fay Vaughan Graham, of Hillsboro; two sons, Keith (Sharon) Graham, of Madison and Phillip (Janie) Graham of Moulton; two daughters, Judy Graham, of Priceville and Janet (Keith) Cavender of Lacey's Spring; five brothers, Ronald Graham, of Huntsville, Sam Graham of Moulton, Bill Graham of Clements, Ben Graham of Moulton, Marcellus Graham of Huntsville; four sisters, Sarah Carter, of Florence, Pat Shelton of Moulton, Phoebe Graham, of Huntsville, Miriam Cuddington of Moulton; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Clint Graham, Daniel Jones, Jacob Graham, Nathan Graham, Daniel Graham, and Noah Graham.

Mary Fay and family - I just read about Maurice in the newspaper my son brought me. It was such a shock. He'll be missed at our reunions. I just remember when we all rode together many years ago. You and family are in my thoughts and prayers
