I enjoyed our day on the Honor Flight back in 2016 so much, that I went again as a guardian this past Wednesday, 10/18/23. I think of Maury often. "They don't make 'em like that anymore!" Paul Kluenker - Manitowoc

I knew Maury for a few years. We became good friends and went to many PAC events, Circus World Museum trips, road trips, local events, and even some family events. Maury was a very special person. Then came COVID and I read his obituary and cried a few tears. It's been a few years since his death and I still think of him and smile. I sure do miss him.

Every time I speak of the Honor Flight program & encourage veterans to take the flight, I mention my day with Maury. Several of my veteran friends from Manitowoc have since taken the flight since I was guardian for Maury back in 2016. He is still impactful to his fellow veterans today.

It was with a sad heart when I retrieved our mail today, finding a “Return to Sender” sticker on our Christmas card to Maury. I was honored to meet Maury & to be his guardian on the October 26, 2016 Honor Flight to Washington D.C. We had a great day. He was such a classy, interesting man.

I just learned of Maury's passing today, when I tried to call him. He was a good friend and a true gentleman. He will be missed....

So sorry to learn of your father's death. I cofacilitated the Men's Grief Group he used to attend. It was evident he loved your mother and missed her. He fondly shared many stories about them attending the Circus Events! I also remember the story he shared about playing circus music at your mother's funeral. How wonderful! Please accept my sympathy, but know your parents are together again. God's comfort and peace be with your entire family.
