I will be working so I will not be able to attend the service. You all are in my thoughts.

I only knew Maxine for a short time, but as soon as you met her, you loved her. She will be missed during the weekly coffee club at the church. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

The world lost a very special lady - I worked with Maxine on multiple occasions at Iredell Memorial Hospital and she always had a smile and kind words. Prayers are with her family during this time of loss.

Bradley, Gwyn, Jed, Luke and Alaina, I am so saddened to hear of your loss. Maxine will always hold a special place in my heart...she was the smiling face of kindness in the nursing office at Iredell Memorial Hospital and always there to help. Years ago, when I was in graduate school, she "rescued" my graduate thesis from the computer monster and re-typed the entire thing by hand in time for me to meet my deadline. We laughed about that for years and I was eternally grateful for her...
