Loved and respected Uncle Max so much. Max and Nell were my only relatives that lived in the country and had a huge garden and I loved visiting growing up. Will miss Uncle Max very much.

Max and Libba, your dad was such a dear person. He loved his family for sure! I always think of him as a quiet servant who served our Lord without drawing attention to himself. I did business with Mr. & Mrs Gantt at the Guardian Credit Union for many years while I was the CEO. They were both first class people. I remember Mr Gantt brought me a jar of home made syrup that he helped the Judge in Elmore County make. This made me feel special. God bless his family.
