Not sure what to say?

There's an open gate at the end of the road
through which each must go alone, and
there in a light we cannot see
Our Father claims His own.
Beyond the gate, our loved ones find
happiness and rest, and there is comfort
in the thought that a loving God knows best.

When I attended Furr High School, I played basketball for Mac. My teammates and I had no idea who he was or the impact he would have on our lives. At first, we thought that he was a pushover in the hallways, but little did we know he was taking notes and anything we did in the hallways or the in the classrooms he made sure we were going to pay for it. Mac said, “When you walk across these lines, I want one hundred and ten percent,” little did we know he was teaching us life skills. He said,...

Claudette--
Please accept my deepest sympathies to you and your family, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May God Bless and strengthen all of you.
With love from a childhood friend...

I only knew Mac for a little while when he came into the Workforce working on his book. He was very nice and sincere. I thought it was really nice that he did the ministries (Bill Glass). He told me he had been doing it for 35 years. I did not know what was going on with him. I just knew I hadnt seen him in awhile and I missed visiting with him when he came in. Mac I know you are up there looking over all your friends and loved ones. I will miss you terribly. I was honored to have you...

Coach was such an awesome person! In the short time that I got to work with him and his beautiful wife Claudette, I was truly blessed by the love that was demonstrated between the two of them. I know that he is painfree now and making a wonderful place at home in the heavens...watching over his loved ones right now. Rest in peace, Coach....

The entire Clements family extends our deepest sympathy to your family. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

~Christine

McCoy was a life-long buddy, classmate, scout &neighbor. We lived only two blocks apart from age 9--JY. He is best described by twelve words we learned in scouting for 4yrs or more:TRUSTWORTHY, LOYAL, HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, COUTEROUS, KIND, OBEDIENT,CHEERFUL, THRIFY, BRAVE, CLEAN &REVERANT. MAY GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY, THE WORLD WILL DEEPLY MISS HIM.

Coach Mclemore recruited me to Rice University and influenced me greatly both as a basketball player and in life in general. I am very fornutate to have crossed his path. God bless Coach Mac and his family.

I will never forget the first time Mr. Mac and I met, when he extended his hand to greet me. Since then he had always welcomed me as part of the family.

We miss him very much and it was hard to see him in pain the last few months ... but he's in a better place now looking over us. I intend to keep my promises Mr. Mac, may you Rest In Peace!

Your loving son-in-law,
Jimmy Huen
