I moved to Fairdale when I was 6 years old. Your Father was our neighbor. I still remember going to the drug store and talking to him. He gave me a roll top kids desk which to this day still sits in my living room. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your loss.

Steve and Cheri, Sorry to hear about your dad. Thinking about the "Drug Store" brings back a lot of memories. Jim and I remember spinning on the stools when we were little. It was the place to go when we were teenagers to meet up with friends. On Sunday mornings trying to get there from Fairdale Baptist Church before Mt. Holly Methodist Church let out. It was standing room only around the fountain. Your dad was always so much fun. A lot of folks depended on him for medical advice...
