Thelma, I wish you my deepest sympathy. Dad always enjoyed working with Mel in real estate and the friendship he and mom had with you and Mel over the many years. Hold dear all the blessed memories you have with Mel. Your family is in our prayers. Kathy Bankord Andersen

Dear Thel, Don, Dan and Debbie
I am so sorry to hear of Mel's passing, but also realize he is with his King. I have but fond memories of New Year's Eve gatherings at your place on Guilford Road. May God richly bless all of you at this time.

Dear Don
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dad. Reading his story made me think back to fond memories at your house on Guilford Road, enjoying your mom's home baked cookies, and our days at First Free. I was honored to have known your dad, and reminded again what an incredibly great generation he was a part of. Praying that your time of mourning will be a rich time together as a family. Please greet you mom, Dan, and Debbie for me. Blessings.
