Michael "Mike" Lynn Bunch, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Lakewood, Colorado, on March 19, 2026.Born in Baker City, Oregon, to Lawrence and Harriet Bunch, Mike served with honor in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Following his service, he earned a degree in accounting and built a career in the mining industry before settling in Lakewood. A man of deep faith, Mike was ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church in 2004. He dedicated over two decades of ministry to the St. Jude community until his retirement in 2025.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Darlene Sheehy, Thomas Bunch, Duane Bunch, and Douglas Bunch. He is survived by: his wife Laura Bunch; brother Arnold Bunch of Keizer, Oregon; children Jacque (Steven) Doizaki and Willard (Abbigail) Bunch; grandchildren Logan, Brandon, and Michaela Doizaki; many extended family members and friends.

Florida Ave, Lakewood, CO 80232. .Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 8, 2026, 10:30 am, St. Jude Catholic Church, 9405 W. Florida Ave, Lakewood, CO 80232. Reception to follow Mass at St. Jude. Interment 2:00 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80235
