Not sure what to say?

He really enjoyed chemistry and chemical engineering. I was in chemistry class with him at U of IL at Chicago. Also was in CAC of Chicago. Sorrow to hear of his death at a young age.

Mike at play, 2005

A great friend (Chambers, Parkinsons, & Baniks, Spring, 2009)

Jan, Brian and Brett, I am so sorry for the loss of your loving husband and father. Mike has been in my thoughts and prayers so often over the past couple of years. He met the health challenges he faced with that problem-solving determination for which engineers are known. What an amazing legacy he leave us. May you be comforted by one another and the memories you share.

Jan, Brett, and Brian,
I just heard of Mike's passing. You have my and my family's deepest sympathy in this trying time. Mike was the only person in my career who I had the pleasure to work with at two great companies (Baxter and Boston Scientific). Jan Brian and Brett,

The world has lost another great teacher, a great friend, an outstanding father and husband. And for me, an amazing Uncle. Uncle Mike loved all of us, with all of his heart. There was no limit to his generosity, to his patience, (trust me I remember testing it with Brett and Brian).

I see Mike's Strength in you Jan, his Humor in you Brett, his generosity in Brian. He will surely be with us in spirit, You are all a great reminder of what a great...

Jan,
I am so sorry to hear about Michael.
Thinking about you!!

Jan, Brett and Brian, My prayers are with you during this time. Although we have not formally met and I had only spoken to Mike briefly a few times on the phone, I feel like I have known your family forever. His strength and playfulness was evident each time we spoke. Diane and his parents loved him so and always spoke so highly of your family. You have been blessed and will continue to be blessed with your loving memories. We love you.
