I met "Top" back in the late 60's also working at the Dedham Circle Sunoco @ the rotary. We got to know him very, very well and I then had the honor to join the DPD and work for him on several shifts in the 70's and then with and for his son, Michael, now DPD Deputy Chief. Always impressed me how "Top" would hug his father, Arthur, at the Sunoco station. His dad would always tell him he loved him and "top" would tell him the same. Gentle, gentle man and mentor to many of the DPD officers....

Sorry to see of Mikes passing. I rode with him on the job once or twice. Very nice easy going guy. My condolences to Denise and the rest of his family.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Sgt. Mike Buckley; He was truly the Best! I worked with Arthur at Dedham Circle Sunoco in the Mid 60s nights pumping gas and met Mike as a young Patrolman. We crossed paths later after I joined the Needham Fire Department and we trained together as EMT´s RIP My Friend
