BURGER, age 56, much loved spouse, partner and best friend of Linda (nee Wenmoth); loving son of Don (deceased) and Geraldine; beloved son-in-law of Richard and Virginia Bland; cherished brother of Donnie (deceased), Maureen Ritzman, Marcia Bis (Jim), Paula Thomas (John), Mark (Mary Beth), Lorraine Rakoczy (Joe), Patrice Williams (Ed), Joan Kettel (Michael), Ellen Wolansky (Greg), Jackie Sammon (Richard), Coletta Krupa (Jim), Matthew (Jessica) and Regina Trepal; loved brother-in-law of Sandra Yarwood (John, deceased), Deb Collins (Gary), Pat Bland, Cindy Bland and Jim Bland (Debbie); loving Godson of Vince and LaVerne Rackel; loving Godfather of Brandy Emery (Dave), Laura Angelis (George) and Adam Chester; beloved nephew, uncle, great uncle and great great uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews and terrific and devoted friend of many. I am so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. I saw Mike's obituary back in August, but since I have not seen him in over 40 years I wasn't sure it was the same Mike, until today when I saw the guestbook entry about Bertaud's. Dear Burger Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. As one of the old "St. Ignatius/Neighborhood Kids" I remember your family well. The most vivid memory I have of Mike was his seat behind the counter at Elise Bertaud's store, right behind the penny pretzel can. Everyone knew that was Mike's seat!
