To Rosie, MIchele, and MIke's boys, my deepest sympathy. I remember Mike when he was an alter boy, and how he loved music. He also got me interested in pistol shooting, and helped me pick out my first handgun. We had some good times target shooting. May you rest in peace.

To the Butera family and Mike's children and wife,

I knew Mike from St. Joseph's Church where we were altar boys. Later in high school I knew Mike in the chorus. He had a great passion for music. He was a fine baritone player in the Brewer High Band. I showed him once back in the late 1970s the old pipe organ in the Unitarian Church on Union Street in Bangor, where I was organist, and he was just fascinated by the instrument. My condolences to the Butera family in this time of loss. I will always be grateful to Michael for our children. I'm sure he's a peace now, playing music in heaven.

My condolences to Mike's family, I knew as a customer at Save-A-Lot in Brewer. I will miss him very much, he was a wonderful man.
