Michael Crimmins Obituary
1945-2011
Mike passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at his home on Dennison Ave., Binghamton after a long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Jerome Crimmins; and his two brothers, Jim and Jerry Crimmins. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Crimmins; daughter and son-in-law, Gia & Al Bryan of Vestal; daughters, Kristine Crimmins of Binghamton and Ashley Crimmins of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Austin Bryan, Kameron & Kaleaha Crimmins; and two sisters, Kathleen Crimmins of Binghamton and Mary Kline of Cockeysville, MD. After retiring from the Binghamton Psychiatric Center he opened Mr. C's Bar and Grille, where many happy times were spent with all of his friends. During his retirement, he sat on his front porch and became known as the "Mayor of Dennison Ave." He loved visiting with everyone that walked down the street. Weekends were spent at various casinos making friends and hoping to make a "big hit", which did occur more than once. During his younger years, summers were spent coaching the North Side girls' softball teams. Mike will be dearly missed. A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1 Aquinas Ave., Binghamton on Friday, May 6, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in Mike's name to Hospice on 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.

Char, I was so sorry to find out Mike passed away. He was my friend and I would have been there had I known. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I do not get the paper and unless someone let's me know I don't find out when an old friend passes.
