Michael was a VERY special person. No matter what adversities he went through, and they were many, he never complained. He taught me and many others how to never look back and always look forward with a smile and full of hope. He will be missed but never forgotten.

I saw Mike last March after not hearing from him for 30 years. I remember him because he was on my paper route back in 1962 and I knew everyone from the route. I knew he went to Annunciation but was not there when we graduated. I know he was hurt by a car accident and retired because of that. I heard from him a couple months ago then nothing until this. It's distressing were the exact same age. My condolences to the family. Steve Candela
