Not sure what to say?

It was an honor to be a pupil in Mr. Goldman's class. He inspired, encouraged, and cared for his student's engagement. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his family have comfort and joy in knowing he inspired generations.

Mike was a true scholar and a gentle man, a man I was lucky enough to call my friend. His favorite poem was Thomas' DO NOT GO GENTLY INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT. He always said he would rage against the dying. And he has - he will never die - for he was such a special man, his legacy will live on forever.

Dear Goldman Family- just randomly read the notice of your mother's passing for some reason ( i did not know your mom), and saw that your dad was Michael Goldman who you also just recently lost- which i did not see when it was published. i was a student of your Dad's at Tottenville (class of 1979) and have the most wonderful memories of him. he was a supportive and good man and teacher and i think of him often especially since he gave me the chance to write and direct and film my own short...

Therese and family, Ran and I are so saddened to learn of Mike's passing. You and he have been wonderful neighbors of Ran's for so many years. Mike was the epitome of warmth, friendliness, and learning. We are rereading his book in his memory. We miss him and are sending you all our sincere condolences. He was a very good man and may he now RIP. Ran and Ying-Ying

Yearbook advisor, play producer ("She Stoops to Conquer"), he played a large part in guiding me to who I am today. I remember him, and the impact he had on my life, with fondness and respect. My condolences to his family.

Mike was my 10 grade English teacher , director of Curse You, Jack Dalton, and dear colleague and friend . He was always kind and a gentleman and fun to be around ! He never lost his love of students and " the big picture " A man to remember, admire and dearly miss! RIP, Mike .

I am very sorry to hear of this. I remember Mr. Goldman from when I was at Tottenville High School. He was a great and well-respected teacher and my condolences to his family.

I taught in the Science Department at Tottenville HS for over 3 decades, starting in 1970 and knew Mike as a treasured colleague and friend. His kindness and unfailing positive attitude were innate gifts that he shared every day....he will be sorely missed.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
