Mike was a grade school/swimming/diving/high school friend, and neighbor in Toledo. Ray & I got to connect with him again at the Olympics in Atlanta. Mike Harron was our neighbor for over 35 years. We liked him very much - everyone did. Years ago at a neighborhood picnic, someone mentioned in reference to Mike when his name came up - "what a great guy!" - a phrase that captures the feeling everyone still has about him today.
