Not sure what to say?

I just now learned of Dr. James' death. I am still in shock. This kind and humorous human being was the first to diagnose my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome years ago. He was instrumental in treating my illness. I will always be grateful for his willingness to think outside the box and help me in so many ways. Though he was vigilant about the doctor/patient relationship, he was, nonetheless, my best friend. My heart breaks for you, Nancy.

I had the good fortune to be selected as a leader in the "Ulster Project" back in 1990 when Mike & Nancy were my host family. As a young 20 year old guy I guess I didn't quite know what to expect but in Mike and Nancy I found the most perfect hosts...the memories I have of this period are truly wonderful and I am just so shocked and saddened to learn of Mike's sudden passing. I had always hoped that despite the many miles separating Ireland and the US, that I would get the...

I was stunned to hear about the loss of Dr. Michael James. He was a brilliant psychiatrist and a genuinely kind, humorous, empathic human being. He was my doctor for more than 10 years. I will genuinely miss him and our clinical conversations. Dr. James was a super great guy as well as a superior psychiatrist.

my prayers are with you Nancy and your family which include your dogs. Dr. Michael James helped me understood me was always there for me. When he choose to accept this job in Elko I had a major breakdown. I just want to say he meant so much to me I,m so sorry

So sorry Mike is gone so soon. I've so many memories starting so many years ago.

I always respected Michael for his wisdom, his humanity, and his high regard for all, including the mentally ill. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. I'll miss you Michael . Nancy, we will mourn with you.

We were very saddened to hear of the loss of Dr James. Not only did he help me personally but was the first person to correctly diagnose my son with aspergers syndrome. Good man,big heart. Best to you Nancy.

I'll never forget those late night conversations we had. He was always stimulating and insightful. Wish you the best, Nancy.
