Not sure what to say?

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I was sorry to hear about Michael. Many years have gone by, but I remember all of my high school years with Michael. He was a very good friend of mine. You may not want to know, but he taught me how to drive!! We had many escapades together. My memories of Somers High School are fond memories because of Michael. I am sure he was a wonderful father. With my deepest sympathy, Dawn O'Dell

I'm so sorry for your loss. Growing up in the old neighborhood in Somers brings back great memories of Michael. We were lucky to have known him!

Dear Joaquim Family,

I am thinking of all of you with deep sympathy for the loss of Michael. News traveled to California via my Somers family, I hold very dear thoughts and prayers for your family, and Michael's children. May the love and frienship of many be of comfort to you as you grieve and celebrate his life.

Deepest Sympathy,
Andrea Richards Quihuis (Judy's friend from down the street in the red house).

I'm deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Michael. My heart felt sympathy goes out to the entire Joaquim family. Michael and I we're very close friends as children, and we shared many fun and exciting adventures together. I continued to stay in touch up untill a couple of months ago. Mike had a huge heart, and as a kid i used to love visiting the house. You have a very strong family, which I'm sure will help you all get through this difficult time. I will miss him, and think about him often.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Michael and I grew up together on Avery road in Somers, Ct. Michael and I spent many years as friends playing ball, swimming in the Joaquim's pool, riding mini-bikes and building forts in the back field. After high school we stayed in touch and I remember Steve Horvath and I traveling down to NJ to attend Michael's wedding. It's been several years since we've last spoken, but I will always remember Michael as a genuine person and a great childhood friend....

Michaels'kind gentle nature, his companionship, advise and laughter has enriched my life.He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. My dearest friend, you will be cherished always in our hearts and in our prayers.

I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's passing. He will be sorely missed by his friends and neighbors in Belmar. I hope and pray that warm memories of good times will help ease the sorrow within our hearts. May God watch over his children, family and friends. RIP Michael

Sorry to read about your loss. May he rest in peace.
