Mick Larkin, a man with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. Whether trailering an old chicken house to help a young boy realize a dream, or helping to round up loose cows out of Route 20 on a moment's notice, or even commenting on a teenager girl’s “goofy hat” in church, this is one man that will never be forgotten.

Wow... I can't believe he is gone. Mickey had a great sense of humor and will be missed by this community. When I was in college I would stay overnight at the Larkin house and he would treat me like one of his daughters. Large breakfast the next morning. Last December I stopped in and visited for a while. Felt at home even after so many years. Each year he has sent me a Christmas card made out to Birdie with some wise crack remark. Always made me laugh and I shook my head and giggled. One day...

My memories of Mickey will never be forgotten. When my father passed
away he wanted everyone not to be sad, but be happy. So in his honor we held a barn dance in the old dairy barn and Mickey and Sharon were one of the first there. We shared old memories of truck driving and farming. Well ,Brother I wish I could hold a barn dance for you.
