I am deeply saddened to hear of Michael's passing. He grew up in East Boston and had an enduring love and wealth of knowledge about its history that he was always ready to share. He was a talented storyteller and, like his father before him. a great citizen. I will miss him.

A kind and gentle man, an accomplished member of the bar
and business community who served his beloved neighborhood
of East Boston unselfishly during his lifetime. No one knew the
history of East Boston Better than Michael. It was an honor to
know him.
