When I heard you were gone, it hurt me to my heart. You were a great co-worker and you made me see your abilities, not your disability. You were a great coach and I marveled at how you could coax the best out of everyone - not just in basketball, but in life. I miss you much, my friend. Rest well.

We miss you Mike! I tell everybody about those Knick games you took me to.

www.MDLClassic.ORG has officially launched today. Together let's honor Mike and help disabled children & veterans as he did so effortlessly.

the greatest

Mike my friend, years ago when I asked you to help me introduce Mario to the shore league you were such a great friend. You never gave up promoting and encouraging him, Mario made us all so proud. You knew talent like no other. Thank you mike for helping my friend with his start as he advanced to get to the NY basketball hall of fame where you will rest someday also. Blessings your eternal friend frank C. and my amazing blind son skylar covich
