Miss You more and more everyday - you are forever in my heart.

We miss you out there but playing ball again has been good medicine. If you can, please help us. We are older, slower, fatter and just plain horrible. That said, we will get better and we love it. We all think about you every time we're out there.

To the entire Lurvey family...

I played baseball on the Lurvey Electric team for years in Flushing...we'd practice in the mornings and swim in the Lurvey pool in the afternoons. How a sub-par baseball like me ended up on a strong ball team like Lurvey Electric, is anyone's guess, but one memory has stuck with me over the years... As I'd make the walk from home plate back to the bench after yet, another strike out, it was Mike Lurvey, with his trademark smile, who would always say,...
