Not sure what to say?

Still miss him. He was a great grandfather to me. I wish he was still with us

After we graduated from Georgetown Prep so many years ago, the gang of day-hops went off to college and careers. Although Mike was a good golfer, I'm certain he was an even better doc. RIP

Saddened to learn of the passing of a Holy Cross friend of the highest quality. He loved life and knew how to live it with joy and integrity.
Tom Carstens (HC'55)

I knew Mike well many years ago when he was at Georgetown Prep and at Holy Cross. He was my husband's best man at our wedding. He was a great guy and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I am sure he is in a better place now. My deepest sympathy to all his family

Dear Pat & family, including brother Tracy,

While Mike was getting educated at HC and I was playing golf we became good friends. I always enjoyed my time spent with him and also his numerous quips in our class letters. He will always remain in my prayers. Unfortunately our class keeps dwindleing.

Very sorry to read of Mike's death. When we moved to town in 1981 he was recovering from heart surgery and took the time to bake us a loaf of bread to welcome us to the neighborhood. He also brought a treat for our dog Hoover! He was definitely a presence in the Forest Ridge area - always out walking his Golden and a little poodle named Murphy!

To the Mehr family:
Our prayers for you all. God bless you.

Dr. Mehr worked with my father at the Marshfield Clinic for many years. He was our family physician during that time and I remember he took very good care of me when I had a bout of pneumonia one summer. He also was a very fine family friend and he always was there for us, particularly at the time of our parents' tragic death. We will miss Michael Patrick, but his legacy of warmth and love will always be with us.

All of us cribbage players at the senior center enjoyed having "Doc" as a partner. He always has a joke to tell and had a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed. All our sympathy is with his family during this tremendous loss. Helen Casey-Brazeau
