In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Thelma, although I am so very far away I hope you know my thoughts and prayers are with you as you travel down this road again. I have always admired your strength and I know your family will need this now, so think of the wise words you told me last year when we went this path together and live by them yourself. Michael Moore was a great person, always had words of wisdom and courage to give. I knew Michael from the flea market in Atlanta Georgia. Michael was the kind of person who always tried to to lend a helping hand. Always kept you
laughing when times were rough. Michael will truly be missed by the Atlanta community. Rest in peace my friend.
