Not sure what to say?

To The Reitz Family,
It was with great sadness that I just learned of Mike's passing. We were teammates at PSU and ironically both transferred to Maryland the same year but were unaware until we both showed up for practice that summer of 1971. We became very good friends and while our post college lives took us in different directions I will miss him. He was a good guy and great friend.

Madeline, Linda & Craig
Sincere sympathy on your loss. May the love of those around you bring you all comfort and peace.
Sandy (Planer) Mengle

Madeline, Linda and Craig, I was shocked to hear about Mike's passing. Mike and his family will always have a special place in the hearts of the Wickman boys. We have a lot of happy memories to share.

I have not seen Mike for many years but I will always remember him and looked up to him as a great leader on the football field and wrestling mat who did it with intensity and a sense of humor.

You guys have a lot to be proud of.

Please have Craig call me...

Dear Reitz family, It is with a heavy heart that I write this message. I've known and worked with Mike for 25 years. From the old Dryden oil days to Rec Oil and beyond. As an employer Mike was a leader in every aspect He could be demanding, although he never demanded any more from you than he did from himself. He taught me that nothing was impossible if you are willing to give it your all. As a friend his generosity and loyalty was a quality that I will always remember. I also remember him...

A great football player and a better teamate

Dear Linda,
I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I remember you and Mike so well from Whitthorne Junior High and Central High Schools. Mike was a truly nice guy back then, and sounds like he never changed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. From: Sally Haley Thurman

Dear Reitz family, We are so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We have fond memories of Mike's contributions to the Wilson football program in the very early days of John Gurski's tenure. It was so very exciting to live through the early seasons that Mike was a part of. Please accept our most sincere sympathy. With love, Linda and Frank Ferraro

Madeline, Linda, Craig, Richard and Fritz,

I never thought I would be writing this, not about Michael. In my mind he was the man that would live forever. There are so many things I would like to say and share about Michael. As everyone knows he was and always will be that man that did everything HEAD ON. His drive for life was overwhelming. He had passion and conviction with everything he did and if it didn’t turn out quite right he wouldn’t quit.

I've learned so many...

It is with deepest regret and a heavy heart this message is written. We will miss Mike tremendously. He has been like a brother to me, and a loyal friend and partner for some 25 years. We have shared many good times with Mike and will cherish those memories always. He will forever be in our hearts and on our minds. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike, his family and friends. Love, Mark & Connie Way
