Mike your laugh and your sense of humor will never leave the walls of the VFW. I will miss coming in and seeing you sitting in your seat. You always said hi honey, probably because half the time you forgot my name, but I will never forget you and your endless entertaining stories. As much as you were loved you will be equally missed. RIP my friend.

1943 - 2012...let us not forget the "dash". It is everthing Michael accomplished and enjoyed during his time with us. Mike you are sadly missed but now at peace. Thanks for the memories Mike!

we may never understand why pop left us all so soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good-bye, but as our days continue to go on, we begin to remember, not just that he died, but that he lived. And that his life gave us all memories, that anyone who ever met him, will never forget. My heart goes out to everyone in the family. I love you guys!

The message today was shared by all those in attendance honoring a husband, father, and a friend to all that new Mike. Your life and time you served is rewarded by the memories you have left with all that have crossed paths with you. We will miss your presence but you will never be forgotten with-in-these-walls. Linda,Matt, and Mike and family Ty for sharing Mike with us.

I will never forget you coming into the club picking on me & me picking back. It was all in fun & we never meant any harm. You always had a story to tell every time too. May you R.I.P. You will be truly missed.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Our deepet condolences to the Schafte family. Jeff and I will always remember Mike. If it were not for Mike, we would not have met many of the people we know today. Thanks for all of your advice, long talks, jokes, and goofy stories. We will miss you. You were one of a kind.
