Not sure what to say?

Your colleagues in architecture and construction acknowledge your exceptional professional and personal character.

If you were less than fully aware of the sincerity of this admiration and respect, I trust that your family and friends will appreciate that your professional community continues to recognize your achievements.

Your departure is significant - we are left to celebrate and honor you by continuing the quality of relationships, design and...

Michael was the best of the best. His gentle soul, his professional genius and ethics touched everyone he met. I was so lucky to know him. c

We will miss Micheal dearly. He was a kind loving man who always gave his best and was a good friend!

My heart goes out to you at this time of terrible loss. I knew Michael in his professional arena. I first met him when he was doing a renovation for Mary Ann DeTrana. As a professional organizer I have had occasion to work with many clients doing renovations. Michael's way of working, the quality of his work, and the way he treated clients was so respectful and of such quality. In a business where deadlines are so often ignored and communications with clients often sub-standard, Michael stood...

There are things that happen that we don't always understand but remember God will be your strength and crutch in your time of need. I am praying for your and the family.

While our roads have diverged over the years, I look back fondly on the times spent with Michael and you. He was a wonderful man, and we were all better for knowing him. May you find peace and comfort in this difficult time.

Dawn and Family, I am deeply sorry to hear about Michael's passing. As people from many different communities have shared, Michael was highly respected and well liked. I know his Theta Chi brothers, especially his pledge brothers and A-school classmates have fond memories of their time with him at UVA. Personally, I will always appreciate the friendship and support you both provided to me and will cherish the memories of our times together. God Bless you in this difficult time.

Michael was one of the kindest people I've ever met, and all of his classmates from Witherspoon Middle School and Princeton High have been sharing on Facebook about how much we loved Michael and will miss him terribly. We are all better people for having known him.

Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time! So sorry for your loss!
